This wedding took place in one of my place of the heart. During a warm day of mid October. Mantova is a city where art, culture and history are amazing, really stunning.
I’ve met this couple in Bologna in my studio since they live there but she comes from Mantova.
I used to live in Mantua and I still love going there, to meet my friends, to eat proper Mantua food prepared in the elegant old restaurant of the city and also to take pictures of a beautiful wedding.
The bride wore a stunning gown of Max Mara Bridal Collection. Powder pink, long sleeves, open back, soft feathers. Dream dress.
After preparatives the celebration took place in a unique church called Santa Maria Del Gradaro with an amazing cloister where we went for a session of couple portraits.
It is not easy to have a magical place like that and also the time to work with a couple in two different amazing locations.
After the cloister we went to Villa Schiarino Lena where the party took place and the aperitif was in the open air, cause the weather was nice and the country air was perfect to stay out until sunset.
We took advantage of the light and the beautiful location with ivy covered the big ancient facade of the beautiful villa and little secret places to take intimate pictures of the couple.
The dinner was inside, with a very amusing atmosphere with the complicity of smart and very organised friends.
All ended with a nice Antoniazzi Cake and a disco inside the room of the villa.
